Pinewood Derby
The Pinewood Derby is on Saturday January 18, 2014…which is only 3 weeks away! Check-in will begin at 8 a.m. This is going to be an exciting race as we have a new-to-pack-150 track. (Please remember that the bottom of the car from the front wheels forward needs to be painted black.)
We will have a pinewood cafe where hot dogs, drinks, and other food items can be purchased. There will be themed den baskets up for raffle….family fun, ice cream, camping, fishing, and movie night are some of the themes. We will also have a raffle and silent auction for other items, such as grocery store gift cards, restaurant gift cards, sports team logo items (shirts, jackets, hats) and Laserdome gift cards. Additionally, 50/50 tickets will be for sale.
Class B t-shirts and sweat shirts will also be available at the Pinewood Derby.
Invite Grandma, Grandpa, aunts, uncles, etc., to come out and watch your scout race!
Hershey Bears Game
If you signed up, don’t forget to join us on Saturday, January 25, at the GIANT Center!
Winter Camp
Friday January 31-Sunday February 2: Winter Camp for current Tigers, Wolves, and Bears at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation. More details forthcoming for those who signed up.
